Properties
Acrylic resin DR-56 is a thermoplastic solid acrylic resin with excellent weatherability, unique hardness, and flexibility.
Acrylic resin DR-56 is easily soluble in many organic solvents such as ketones, esters, long-chain fatty alcohol and aromatic hydrocarbons, and also has good compatibility with other film forming resins such as cellulose, epoxy resin, vinyl resin and other acrylic resin.
Thanks to the excellent compatibility with PVDF resin, DR-56 can enhance the phase's stability, dryness and pigment dispersion for PVDF resin. With its outstanding performance of adhesion on metal substrates (especially at post-baking process), it is widely used in baking-type fluorocarbon coatings (PVDF coatings).
